OEM Supply of Hydraulic Excavators to Kubota Corporation

Sumitomo Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (the Company) is pleased to announce that the Company and Kubota Corporation (Kubota) have reached an agreement on the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) supply of construction machinery. ［The Company will start to supply Kubota in Europe with its 14.5ton minimum swing radius hydraulic excavator.］
As released on October 31, 2023 the Company and Kubota initiated a detailed study into the OEM supply of the Company’s hydraulic excavators to Kubota. As a result of this study, the Company will start to supply its 14.5 ton minimum swing radius hydraulic excavator to Kubota for the European market starting in Spring 2026. The parties will now discuss details such as specific markets and numbers of excavators to be supplied. Kubota will exhibit the OEM model (U145) at their booth at bauma 2025 (the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment: Munich, Germany) from April 7 to 13.
The Company will continue to consider the use of Kubota’s small-scale construction machinery in
overseas markets.
